MSV Housing Group

A member of the Manchester Housing Providers Partnership, working together to deliver better housing outcomes across the city.

About MSV

Mosscare St Vincent’s Housing Group – or MSV for short – is a social landlord working across the Northwest of England. They own and manage almost 9,000 homes in Greater Manchester, Lancashire and West Yorkshire. Their values place them right at the heart of communities, working with customers to deliver excellent landlord services and warm, safe homes.

The organisation focuses on ensuring the customer voice is at the heart of a strong viable business. Engaging with customers and co-creating services means they can deliver a range of homes and services designed to meet the needs of a wide range of customers.

MSV’s business strategy ‘The MSV Way’ commits to investing in People, Place and Performance with a focus on their Customer Promise “Healthy Homes and Fair and Friendly Services”. They have a strong focus on investing in existing customers’ homes and the consumer standards for social housing provides the framework for MSV to ensure they are delivering high quality services with clear pathways for customers to be involved and provide feedback on those services.

As well as a large range of family and single persons’ homes, they specialise in providing a safe and secure home for many marginalised people; for example, Foyers for young people and care leavers, Later Living schemes for the Over 55’s and HAPPi schemes designed specifically for older people, supported housing for those with specific circumstances, and specialist housing for homeless and rough sleepers. This is in addition to the modern award winning and sought-after homes they build for people across the North-west.

Our Manchester presence

Supporting communities is at the heart of MSV’s mission. Alongside providing quality homes, the organisation delivers programmes and initiatives that promote wellbeing, financial resilience, employment and social inclusion, such as the Blunt Truth Knife Crime project in South Manchester.
MSV supports vulnerable residents through specialist housing and care services, helping people maintain independence and improve quality of life. The organisation also works in partnership with local charities, community groups and public services to provide advice, skills development and opportunities for residents of all ages. By reinvesting into people, homes and neighbourhoods, MSV continues to strengthen communities and deliver long-term social value across Manchester and the wider region.
