About Irwell Valley Homes

Irwell Valley Homes is a not-for-profit housing association with a proud history of supporting communities across the North West for more than 50 years. Managing over 7,500 homes across Greater Manchester and surrounding areas, the organisation is committed to providing safe, affordable and high-quality housing for individuals and families. Irwell Valley Homes offers a range of housing options, including social and affordable rent, supported housing and shared ownership, alongside services designed to help customers live independently and successfully. With a strong focus on customer experience, sustainability and neighbourhood investment, the organisation continues to develop and improve homes while supporting thriving communities throughout the region.

Our Manchester presence

Greater Manchester sits at the heart of Irwell Valley Homes’ operations, with homes and services delivered across many communities in the city region. The organisation has deep roots in Manchester and works closely with local authorities, partners and community organisations to respond to housing need and support neighbourhood regeneration. Alongside managing existing homes, Irwell Valley Homes continues to invest in the development of new affordable housing, helping to provide more people with access to quality homes in places they want to live. Its local teams work directly within neighbourhoods, building strong relationships with residents and helping create safer, more connected communities across Greater Manchester.
